Bronx

The Bronx is the only borough of New York that is actually connected to the mainland. Directly north of Manhattan, Bronx too is a diverse area rich in cultural and historical landmarks. The area also includes two of the city’s largest parks Pelham Bay Park, the largest park in New York City, and Van Cortlandt Park, which contains the Van Cortlandt Golf Course the first public golf course in the United States and the only one in the city.

Six subway lines serve the borough, making it easily accessible from touristy Manhattan. Some points of interests include the Bronx Zoo, Yankee Stadium, Woodlawn Cemetery, New York Botanical Gardens and Van Cortlandt House Museum.
