Often linked to the advertising industry, Madison Avenue in Manhattan's Upper East Side is also known for its high-end designer shopping, fine dining and opulent goods. However, the standout store is arguably Barneys New York, the department store that attracts both the traditional Upper East Side residents along with the trendy Downtown fashionistas.
