Giants Stadium New York

Built at a cost of $78 million, Giants Stadium opened in 1976 with a seating capacity of 78,741. It is owned and operated by New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority State of New Jersey. The stadium is situated in East Rutherford, New Jersey in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, which is also home to the Meadowlands Racetrack and the Continental Airlines Arena. Every year, more than 7 million fans watch over 800 events at the Meadowlands. The three venues at Meadowlands were built at a total cost of $450 million.

It is the second largest stadium in the NFL with a seating capacity of 80,000. This New York stadium serves as home to the New York Giants, New York Jets football teams of the NFL, and the Red Bull New York soccer team of the MLS.

In the past, the New Jersey Generals (USFL), the Knights of the World League, and an XFL team called the Hitmen have used Giants Stadium as a home field. The stadium has hosted events such as college football, World Cup Soccer and a variety of other soccer matches.

Concerts by famous artists are usually a sell out at this popular entertainment and sports venue. Super stars like Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, Genesis, U2, Green Day, and Guns N' Roses have entertained crowds here.
