"Go out and learn the subway, walk the streets, plug in to the wonderful neighborhoods. Eat where locals eat, and take time to walk Central Park and find the street bazaars, parades, and fine art film houses in Greenwich Village. The Big Apple is a place for romance, adventure, and people watching. (Oh and don't forget to take in MOMA, the Cloisters and Broadway!)"

"Great situation only round the corner from Times square an also 5th avenue and Central Park. Would recommend hotel but needs updating"

"Don't go to 'quality Meats' on E58th unless your wallet is bulging. It was recommended to us by the concierge and turned out VERY expensive."
-Andrew from Stourbridge, GB

"Definitely book a tour! You can see more and learn more history than you ever could on your own. We did the onboard tour and it was GREAT! The rickshaw ride in Central park was COOL! Westway Diner on 9th was best place to eat! Free Comedy show at HA was GREAT! Ask your concierge for recommendations, ours was GREAT! ALWAYS take yellow cabs, private cars rip you off! Enjoy everything the city has to offer.Don't waste too much time shopping."
-Paula from Brighton, TN, US

"Be ready to walk alot, visit areas outside of Times Square. Look for many galleries and shows that are FREE !"
-Daniel from Bronxville, NY, US

"Without doubt, the biggest tip is to buy a guide book to the city. Wandering aimlessly you will probably find some nice places to eat and drink, but the guide will help you get so much more from your trip. "
